BIOGRAPHY
The Danish architect Mette Schelde (b. 1985) works range from product design to spacial design and architecture. Rethinking the conventional her works are sensorial as they are functional. The studio was established in 2012.
Simple and sculptural in expression, her designs take shape in an intuitive process that always places people at the fore. Constantly exploring new methods and technologies that point both back and forth in a mixture of tradition and renewal.
The process takes place across disciplines of sketching, building and testing. 

Mette Schelde Studio has received a number of nominations and awards. The studio works with companies including Fritz Hansen, Skagerak & Please Wait to be Seated and others.
